New Champion Makes a Mark

Sydney Smith School wanted to replace their existing sand dressed 1,960m2 surface with a modern multi-use sand filled sports surface. The surface requirements were to have it suitable for football, but also accommodate other sports such as netball, tennis and hockey.  Playrite teamed up with the Senior Landscape Architect from NPS Group to find the right surface for the schools needs. The school also wanted a commercial entity for hiring out the field. Therefore, Playrite Tufted Champion PP was chosen, sand filled 24mm fibrillated Polypropylene surface placed over Playrite Matchpad underlay to give it both impact absorbing and bounce modifying.        

Because of Playrite flexibility and manufacturing process we created Tennis markings in white, Seven aside Football / Hockey in yellow and Five aside Football in red. Meeting all the needs and requirements the school requested.
