Yorkshire Martyrs - Bradford

Jason Scully, Facilities Manager at Yorkshire Martyrs Catholic College decided to give a 1970's school a complete makeover.  During the summer vacation he highlighted a number of areas that would help teachers and pupils alike.  The main phase of work was to paint all classrooms, corridors and communal areas.  A smaller but as important phase was the transformation of two existing tarmacadam courts.

The project took six weeks to complete, with three main areas, level one court to make one large area, overlay with Play-Rite's MatchWinner and MatchPad, and finally put new barge boards to protect existing fencing.

After several site visits we managed to get our Play-Rite's product specified and Dales Sports Surfaces to lay the material.  Approximately 2,000m2 with in laid lines for three tennis, two netball and hockey/football areas.

All parties worked extremely hard to ensure that the facility was open 10th September for the new school year.
