Premier League 'All Stars' Charity Event
West Yorkshire based manufacturer Playrite have had their popular Match-Winner product installed for the ‘Premier League All Stars’ charity event in London.
Premier League All Stars saw twenty teams of footballing legends, celebrities and fans battle it out for the top spot and the £300,000 prize for their charity. The twenty teams represented the 20 Barclay’s Premiership clubs. Match-Winner from Playrite was chosen as it’s suitability to the project was ideal, while its structure allowed inlaid lines to be added to the pitch.
Over 4,100m2 of Match Winner was installed by flooring contractor Evergreens. The installation consisted of four different colours, light grey, dark grey, light blue and dark blue, while Match-Winner red was used for the inlaid lines.
Steve Byrnes, Southern Sales Manager of Play-Rite said, “Having our Match-Winner product installed for the Premier League All Stars event was a great achievement for us. The event showed the versatility of our product which can be used both outdoor and indoor and as a multi-use games area. Whether it’s being installed at a school or a local sports club, the surface is perfect for football, hockey and netball.”
