Replacement of Liversedge Tennis Courts
Players at Liversedge Tennis Club in West Yorkshire are now reaping the benefits from their newly refurbished courts. The recent installation of Match Play II, from local manufacturer Playrite, has seen two courts replaced and a further two courts refurbished.
The courts at Liversedge Tennis Club were previously laid with Playrite’s Match Play II 12 years ago, following extensive play during summer and winter incorporating their floodlight winter league the courts required resurfacing. The club once again relied upon Playrite and their expertise to resurface the courts with the same product. In addition, another two courts, which are 10 years old, were power washed and re-sanded, giving them a new lease of life for their players.
Match Play II is recognised by the LTA and tested to ITF standard, this tennis surface provides maximum underfoot comfort. The installed surface offers consistent ball bounce to the player and all weather usage with minimal maintenance.
Play-Rite, a sister division to Heckmondwike FB, is a trading division of National Floorcoverings Ltd. The company is now one of the UK's largest suppliers, specialising in the manufacture and installation of surfaces for the sports, leisure and recreational markets.
